My kids school uses School Loop that helps, but I really like how this app lets you know where your remaining projects are and how theyll affect your grade.

Please add iCloud sync, a Mac version and an API for existing Blackboard, SchoolOne, School Loop systems to transfer grade reporting into.

I would also work out a referral system so teachers get rewarded for posting a syllabus with a QR code that lets students get all the info entered.
